Beginning Sewing - Tote BagInstructor: Nicole Schneider, Fabric Shapers Description: Learn basic sewing construction with this easy to follow pattern. Learn how to apply lining, pockets and straps. (any description that you have come up with is perfect) Bring to class: 3 or 4 pieces of coordinating 100% cotton fabric 26 inches in length. The body of the bag may be canvas if desired. If you desire a more stiff bag, bring 26 inches of sew-in fleece interfacing.

Applique TechniquesInstructor: Linda Krueger, Pinery Patches Description: Learn two ways of applique - hand and machine. Machine applique will use the fusible web to position the pieces. Then you will use your machine to finish the edges. Hand applique will use the back basting technique to position the pieces and use the needle turn technique to applique. Class Fee: $30.00 |
